Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge Unresponsive
Step by step instructions to settle Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge dark screen of death
- Software or Firmware Crash
- Drained Battery
- Power Button
- Charging port
Reason 1: Software or firmware crash
Solution :
Due to some applications or virus phone's software may got crashed, for this issue i have simple solution,
Press and hold the Power button for a minute, and connect charger, If this trick is not working then press and hold Volume Down button first and then press and hold Power button together for a minute mobile will restart automatically, Connect charger immediately after you see the Samsung logo.
Reason 2: Drained Battery
Solution :
Connect charger and leave it for 5 to 10 minutes. later that check out whether its charging or not if its not charging then try changing both cable and adapter, some times cable may got damaged or charging adapter may be faulty.
Still not charging then try cleaning the charging port by tooth brush using IPA ( Its a kind of liquid using for clean the mother board of Mobile, Computer and Electronic items).
Reason 3: Power button
Solution : Don't do anything much in this situation, because you are not qualified for changing or repairing the power button, Just try to press the power button little harder than usual press the button and slide your finger on it while pressing give little effort on it.
If its switching on then your S7 edge is absolutely fine but need to replace the power button, this problem occurs due to water damage or faulty power ( manufacturing defect ) button go to service center ask them to change power button.
Reason 4: Charging Port
If the charging port is got damaged or it was filled with dirt, dust, or some insulated materials like gum etc then your phone wont charge try cleaning by using safety pin but be careful don't damage its gold colored strips on port.
Check the port if its damaged then bring your phone to service center.
If you getting any trouble using your S7 edge judt do hard reset, back up data before doing this
Hard resetting Method
Step 2: When the Samsung logo shows on the screen, release the Power key but continue holding the Volume Up and Home keys.
Step 3: Release the keys when you see android logo
Step 4: Use volume key to go down to wipe data factory reset
Step 5: Press Power key to confirm
Step 6: Yes delet all user data it will wipe all data and make your device fresh and New
