Samsung J7 Reset Method
Android 6.0
- Back up your all data
- Remove your Google account on the device
- Go to Settings
- Tap Backup and reset.
- Tap Factory data reset.
- Tap Reset device.
- Now it asks password or PIN
- Enter your password or PIN
- Tap Continue.
- Tap Delete all.
- Wait for completion.
Android 7.1
- Back up all your data
- Remove your Google account on the device
- Go to Settings
- Now tap Cloud and accounts.
- Tap Backup and reset.
- Tap Reset
- Tap Factory data reset.
- Tap Reset.
- Now it asks password or PIN.
- Enter your password or PIN.
- Tap Continue.
- Tap Delete all.
Hard reset with hardware keys
A Hard reset will delete all your device data you stored, like pictures, personal data, downloads, ringtones, images, apps, contacts, etc etc.
And restores your phone's settings to default as a new phone
- Back up all your data
- Remove your Google account on the device
- Turn off the device.
- Press and hold the Volume Up key & Home key together,
- Now press and hold the Power key.
- When you see the logo on screen release the Power key.
- When the Android logo displays, release all keys
- Now use Volume down key to highlight "wipe data factory reset"
- Press the Power button to select.
- Press Volume down key to highlight "Yes -- delete all user data"
- Press the Power button.
- Wait for Some time
- Press the Power key to restart the device.
