What If Smartphone Stuck While Plugged in a charger?
As a mobile technician i solved lot of problems like this, Once when i was in my shop, a person came to me and said that his phone was suddenly stuck on, and the display is unresponsive.
I will explain Why this happens?
- Bad Charger
- Car charger
- Overflow of current
- Charging Port Water damaged
- Unspecified or Local Charger
Problem 1. Bad Charger
Solution: What is a bad charger? Bad charger means, for example, you are using htc mobile phone, but in some time in a hurry, you used any other China or local charger which is completely unmatched to your device,
In this case, if you facing this issue don't worry just press and hold the power button for 10 to 20 sec, Your mobile device will be automatically restarted and start working normally.
Problem 2. Car Charger
Solution: Quality is Everything? Yes, Quality is everything, If you are using a specified and company Charger then you cant face this type of problems.
When you start using chargers which sold on traffic signals and local mobile shops, for sure you will face problems with your device.
When this problem occurs to your device do the same what i said before that press and hold the power button till phone restarts.
(Stop using local chargers buy some good quality chargers.)
Problem 3. Overflow of Current
Solution: Yes over the flow of current, When you plugged into a charger and left for some while suddenly you came to know that your smartphone is unresponsive,
This happens due to the overflow of current in the charger,
For example in your home the current voltage is 230, but some time due to some technical issue the flow of current is higher than 230v, in this situation if your charger is current overflow resistor then your device is safe, but if your charger is not current overflow safe, then your smartphone is also not safe,
When this happens just try to press and hold power button for 15 seconds.
If Your smartphone's charging ic is not shorted or damaged then your smart phone is safe otherwise you may lost your device.
Problem 4. Charging Port is Water Damaged
Solution: Smartphone is unresponsive if your device charging port is water damaged or short,
Try pressing and holding power button for 10 to 15 sec, if phone is still unresponsive,
Remove Battery,
Take a tooth brush, Dip it in thinner and wash your smartphone's Charging port and dry it with your hair drier,
And Try pressing and holding power button for 10 to 15 sec
Problem 5. Unspecified or Local Charger
Solution: Yes when you start using Unspecified or Local Charger your device may got damaged due to current over flow, High voltage, high mAH, Smart phone's hardware like charging ic, power ic, condenser, diode, made for some specified current, amp etc,
When charger sends more than specified current then device may got damaged,
Device may be back in normal working condition mode, if parts of its not damaged.
Try pressing and holding power button for 10 to 15 sec
