S8+ Green dot on Display
Problem: Hai i have started having the black screen of death with my s8 plus. I know the hard reboot and i did it, but there’s the green line of the screen and the phone is fine as long as the screen doesnt turn off, From my understanding the green line is a Display issue, I have even tried changing the display setting any help please...
Solution: The green line that you are seeing is most likely caused by a damaged display or due to Heavy internet usage,
However You can check if there is a corrupted software causing this issue by doing the troubleshooting steps listed below.
Switch off the phone and start in safe mode by holding volume down button
Now check the green line appear in this mode?
If it doesn’t then it could be caused by an application you downloaded.
Find out what application is that and uninstall it.
If the above steps fails to fix the problem then
Backup your phone data
Do a factory reset
Cache reset(Clean cache)
Do not install any apps after the reset.
Try to check first if you still see the green line
If the above steps fails to fix the problem then bring the phone to a service centre.
S8+ Display Flickering
Problem: Hai my galaxy S8 plus screen is badly flickering and I can’t do anything anymore with my phone. First i heard sound effects (as i was taping on the type pad, or increasing/decreasing the sound volume) so I thought it was only the screen that was damaged. Now I can’t do anything because I’ve tried do factory reset it. Now i want to change the screen but I want to be sure before order it, that it’s not a motherboard issue.
To be honest, the touchscreen was already damaged but normally responding month before the screen flickering happened. My question is do i have to replace the screen or the motherboard?
Solution: It’s really difficult to tell what exactly the problem is, unless each part can be tested. But I will try to suggest you better solution, That the display needs to be replaced because you said that you heard a tapping sound etc, That sound comes when you we using our phone it means display and touch was damaged. There’s also the 20% of possibility that the motherboard of your phone needs to be replaced if it has some components that are not working properly.
To be safe bring the phone to a service center and have it checked.
S8+ Continuous Touch On Screen Not Working
Problem: I have a samsung S8+, i can only hold my touch for about three seconds. I can do stuff but when I try to play games that requires continuous touch, Can’t hold on for more than three seconds, it releases automatically even tho I’m still touching the screen. Can anyone tell me what’s happening?
Solution: The first thing that you will need to do is to check it by starting your phone in Safe Mode. If the Problem is solved in this mode then it is caused by an app you downloaded, Find out that app and uninstall it.
In case the problem occurs in Safe Mode then you should backup your phone data then do a factory data reset.
If the above steps fails to fix the problem then bring it to service center.
S8+ Screen Is Flickering After Drop
Problem: I dropped my phone after that the screen just flickers but there is no any cracksin display, and the bottom side display is turned in to green, any solutions?
Solution: Switch off the phone and start the phone in recovery mode. If the display works in this mode perfectly then the problem is in mother board or its a software issue, in which case you need to perform a factory reset.
Note:Before Performing hard reset back up your data
